Installing the Latest Version of IObit Malware Fighter for Mac

Less than a week ago, IObit Malware Fighter (IMF) caught several malicious Trojans. The latest definitions version reads 1194, and I am eager to get the updates that are missing until v2 is fully polished. However, when IMF was retrieved, it did not seem to include these updates.

As someone with limited knowledge about program development, I prefer to wait until the IMF team completes its testing before upgrading to the new version. After seeing posts about IMF v2 from experienced users, I am not yet ready to download the latest version.

In addition to this, I am having trouble deleting the Malware Fighter PRO 1.7 toolbar permanently from my hard drive and not just disabling it. Can anyone provide guidance on how to achieve this? Moreover, how can I get MF PRO 1.7 (not beta 2) back on my computer without the license information?

To make matters more complicated, when I tried to uninstall MF PRO, I lost my original Setup.exe file! Cancel did not stop the process, so I had to click on SysTray to prevent it from running. By the time I realized that the download was not for MF 2, the toolbar download had already started.

This experience has left me questioning why IObit added an unwanted toolbar as part of the update notice for the new version of Malware Fighter PRO. It's unacceptable and frustrating for users who simply want to upgrade their software without encountering unnecessary extras.
